A New Distributor For Our SWIR Cameras in USA East Coast

A New Distributor For Our SWIR Cameras in USA East Coast

NIT, together with its US distributor Pembroke Instruments, have experienced large growth over the last years. The demand for our SWIR cameras is expanding from our large US customer base in the vision industry and defense.

To support this expansion, NIT is pleased to announce a new distribution partnership for the US East Coast with Tech Imaging. Tech Imaging will offer all our SWIR cameras and will support our clients and OEMs within the East coast while Pembroke Instruments will concentrate on the West coast.

“Tech Imaging Services is excited to announce our strategic partnership with New Imaging Technologies (NIT), a leader in SWIR sensors and cameras. This partnership will help us to provide the most comprehensive portfolio of SWIR technologies, as well as offer our customers state-of-the-art solutions to their application’s requirements. “ Jason O’Connell – President, Tech Imaging Services Inc

“We are extremely pleased with this partnership with Tech Imaging as the SWIR market is expanding to large volume and we need to develop our technical and sale capacities to bring to our customer base. Moreover, our recent investment into a new clean room building and manufacturing equipment will allow us to produce more InGaAs sensors and lower the price point. Tech Imaging together with our historical partner Pembroke Instruments will for sure contribute to this expansion. “ Pierre Potet – CEO, New Imaging Technologies (NIT)

The Largest Portfolio of SWIR Sensors of the Imaging Industry

The Largest Portfolio of SWIR Sensors of the Imaging Industry

NIT is widely known for its large range of SWIR cameras designed for industrial, defense, and medical markets. Less known is that NIT designs and manufactures in-house all the InGaAs sensors embedded into our cameras. We master the design of silicon read-out circuits, InGaAs photodiode arrays, and assembly technologies such as 3D stacking.

Our recent investment into a new clean room facility and back-end process machines will bring our production capacity to several ten thousand sensors per year with the highest quality.

Such vertical integration allows us to offer a line of cameras with specific features, all adapted to our customer markets and applications. Our cameras and their performances are unique as they don’t use third-party sensors. The sensitivity, noise level, frame rate, pitches, dynamic range, and pixel numbers of our InGaAs sensors make our cameras the best in their class.

Stay tuned with us as we will shortly disclose how our cameras benefit from the features of our sensors.

NIT is quickly ramping up with production of InGaAs stacked sensors

NIT is quickly ramping up with production of InGaAs stacked sensors

NIT controls and masters in-house all the design and manufacturing phases of its InGaAs focal plane arrays.

One of the critical steps is the 3D stacking of the photodiode array to the read-out circuit, for which NIT has developed a very innovative flip-chip process ensuring high yield and low cost of production.

The 3D stacking process is able to produce FPA’s from pitch of 7.5um to 15um, studies are underway to lower this limit.
